New information supplemented chapters Topographical maps symbols and RKKA (Workers' and Paesants' Red army) maps in scale 1:50000. So RKKA maps in scale 1:50000 on territory of Lithuania were composed from old material, mostly old Russian maps (verst-scale maps), updating by newest available maps: inter-war Lithuanian maps, Polish WIG maps, Latvian inter-war maps. Interesting, that RKKA had originals of Lithuanian inter-war maps. In 1990-ies when was asked to return originals of inter-war Lithuanian maps as heritage, soviet officials answered that maps destroyed...
